Celebrity chef Rachael Ray has some strong feelings about her podcast, and admits that she’s ‘p**sed’ about one aspect of it.
Ray, 56, began her own podcast, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, in October, which featured in-depth interviews with celebrities like Chef Anne Burrell, Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper, and actor Billy Cudrup.
She spoke about a variety of topics with her guests, including her decision not to have children with her longtime husband, John Cusimano.
However, the podcast took a hiatus for the holidays in December 2024 – but hasn’t yet returned to air.
And, it turns out, it’s something that’s bothering Ray.
‘I beat all of my team up about it all the time,’ she recently told People about when new episodes are coming.
‘I’ve already done several that haven’t been released yet,’ she continued. ‘The challenge is waiting for their a**es to put it on air.’
Ray admitted it was something that ‘p**sed’ her off.

‘I’m p**sed at how long it takes them to put it up,’ she told the outlet. ‘That’s all I’m pissed at.’
But even though she may be ‘p**sed’ at its current frozen state, she does love to have long conversations with her guests, something that she says she was never able to do on her daytime cooking show.
‘I like introducing people to new people, people that are new to my life, but I also reintroducing them to people I already love and respect, and being able to expand and expound on what I wish I had the time to do in formats I couldn’t do it in before,’ Ray told People.
‘I had people on that are celebrated actors and people that I have known for a real long time, but that I never got to spend more than four or five minutes with,’ she shared. ‘It’s amazing.’
The premiere of Ray’s podcast this year came as fans became concerned about her health after she posted a video in September which appeared to show her slurring her speech.
The video was a preview from her new show, Rachael Ray in Tuscany, and showed her cooking Ossobuco while paying tribute to the late Tony Bennett.
At the time, her rep told TMZ that she had ‘no comment’ about the matter.
After some viewers shared their concern, Ray admitted during the premiere of her podcast last week that she’s suffered ‘a couple of bad falls’ recently.

Ray then noted, ‘I’ve had a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks, so I haven’t been doing that in awhile, but I love carrying wood’
The celebrity chef shared that she enjoys doing ‘physical labor’ around the house but has had to cut back on certain tasks lately because she took ‘a couple of bad falls’ while carrying wood.
Speaking clearly and cheerfully, Ray said: ‘I’m a homemaker. I love chores. I love being in the kitchen. I always work with my brain everyday, I’m always writing something, but I really like chores.’
She continued: ‘I like what people consider physical work. I like making dinner, planning dinners, making lists. I love physical labor, helping carry in the wood.’
