The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities participated in the Spanish -Egyptian International Conference on Tourism, Hospitality and Heritage & LDQUO; ISect & RDQUO; In its second session, which was organized in Cairo, the Sinai Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotels in Ras Sidr, in cooperation with the Faculty of Tourism and Trade at the University of Camultunsse, Spain. Administration of the Sinai Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotels in Ras Sidr and the President of the Conference, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al -Assal, Vice -Chairman of the Institute’s Board of Directors and the conference decision, and Professor Dr. Wael Suleiman, Dean of the Institute. The Egyptian General for Tourism Activation, with the aim of creating an opportunity for Spanish and Egyptian specialists in the field of tourism, hospitality and heritage to meet and exchange knowledge, science and experiences, and to enhance a cooperative environment to exchange and spread knowledge, scientific discoveries and innovative curricula related to global transformations in these areas, in addition to establishing a comprehensive platform for economic specialists, hospitality industry leaders and representatives Non -governmental organizations and governmental authorities. Cultural is a continuous challenge, and it cannot be achieved without the involvement of local communities as a major interest in the process, pointing out that when individuals have a role in the development of tourism in their country, they not only benefit economically, but also feel proud to protect their heritage and historical sites in their country and their natural surroundings.
She also indicated that enabling societies plays a crucial role in making tourism sustainable, as giving local population a larger role creates more authentic experiences for visitors, supports local businesses, and enhances responsible tourism practices. & nbsp;
P> The Egyptian General Authority also organized a tourism program for the participants in the conference, during which they visited the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids of Giza and the Al -Religion Complex area, with the aim of introducing them to the ancient Egyptian civilization.
It should be noted that the conference included 65 foreign speakers Among them are 24 speakers from the State of Spain, 25 Egyptian speakers, and the sessions took place on the topic of the conference & quot; It is time to exchange experiences & quot, which highlighted the spirit of cooperation between academic societies in Spain and Egypt in the fields of tourism, hospitality, heritage, architecture, antiquities and other relevant specializations.
