The government has signed a Rs 624-crore contract with Bharat Electronics Limited for the procurement of 28 key systems for Indian Navy vessels. This agreement aligns with the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ vision and involves employment generation and participation of various Indian industries, including MSMEs, in defence manufacturing.
