Luke Littler and Angry Ginge react to Harry Maguire’s controversial late winner as Man United book spot in the FA Cup fifth round

Luke Littler and Angry Ginge celebrated wildly after Harry Maguire’s late winner for Man United against Leicester on Friday night.

Littler – fresh off the back of winning his first world title last month – joined the YouTuber on a live stream to watch the Red Devils book their spot in the FA Cup fifth round.

Born in Warrington, the 18-year-old is a well-known United fan and was serenaded for his heroics at the World Darts Championship in January, where he became the youngest world champion ever.

The teenager was invited to parade the Sid Waddell trophy around Old Trafford at half time of United’s game with Brighton, which the hosts ended up losing 3-1.

While his fortunes in front of the darts board have been unfavourable as of late – recently falling to a 6-5 defeat in his Premier League Darts opener against Michael van Gerwen on Thursday – Littler was overjoyed when he watched his United side clinch a last-gasp win on Friday night.

Before the goal, Littler and Angry Ginge even foreshadowed Maguire’s winner.

‘To be fair, a Maguire header off this and it’s on,’ said the YouTuber.

‘Everyone [in the live stream chat] is saying Maguire,’ Littler noted, before Bruno Fernandes stepped up to take the free-kick which Maguire nodded in to make it 2-1.

Moments later, the duo erupted into celebration and sung United’s ‘We’ve seen it all, we’ve won the lot’ chant, which matches the chorus melody of ‘Sloop John B’ by the Beach Boys.

They chanted: ‘We’ve seen it all, we’ve won the lot, we’re Man United and we’re never going to stop.’

United secured qualification to the FA Cup fifth round following the controversial set-piece goal, where Maguire was clearly offside.

The game looked to be heading to extra-time right up until the 93rd-minute when the England star found himself unmarked at the back post to head in Fernandes’ free-kick.

However, the absence of VAR meant that United notched their fourth victory in five games and will continue their cup defence next month.

Maguire’s contentious winner left Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy seething, as it ruined his return to Old Trafford in agonising fashion.

‘We are not defeated in Fergie time, we are defeated in offside time,’ a furious Van Nistelrooy said.

‘The game was decided on a mistake, it’s clear. This wasn’t necessary.

‘We deserved to go into extra time, go for the battle in extra time and maybe penalties.

‘Decisions like these in our level are hard to swallow.’
