The Prime Minister inspects the National Academy of Information Technology for persons with disabilities

During his visit today, Tuesday evening, the city of Knowledge in the new administrative capital, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, inspected the National Academy of Information Technology building for persons with disabilities (NAID), whose headquarters is a center for excellence to support research, development and entrepreneurship in the field of technologies and auxiliary tools To integrate and empower persons with disabilities. To achieve digital access; Where some programs, projects and activities of the relevant academy were reviewed. Accurate as well as developing the digital content available through 18 specialized research and applied laboratories such as: engineering design, the Internet of things and electronics, robots and artificial intelligence, 3D printing, digital mechanical manufacturing, biomedic mechanics and rehabilitation, virtual and enhanced and extended reality laboratories, as well as experimentation and interactive training in addition to incubators and speeds Specialized works.

& nbsp; Where two projects that graduated in cooperation with the Academy of a Self -Driving Meet Chair were reviewed using artificial intelligence, as well as working to develop an industrial party design using 3D printing technology, and two companies who embraced the Academy reviewed their technological solutions for an application to translate written texts into sign language to enable communication with Deaf and weak hearing as well as specialized glasses to convert spoken speech into sign language. Where one of the companies offered a preliminary model for a virtual environment based on the extensive reality to train persons with disabilities for the safe use of industrial equipment.
