Truth behind Bianca Censori and Kanye West’s Grammys exit after shocking red carpet stunt sparked calls for arrest over indecent exposure

He once shared shocking footage of himself urinating on a Grammy Award after he went ‘into battle’ against labels to try and retrieve the rights to his own music.

So, it is perhaps unsurprising that Kanye West, 47, dragged his wife Bianca Censori, 30, into his latest publicity stunt as he returned to the annual event on Sunday night.

But despite commanding attention with the appalling move, which saw Censori bare her naked body underneath a sheer mini dress, the rapper was reportedly left ‘upset’ that he didn’t get to wreak more havoc inside after being asked to leave.

Insiders have told DailyMail.com that someone was sent to speak with the Vultures artist minutes after Censori dropped her fur coat to the floor over fears CBS – the network which aired the live broadcast – could face fines and reprimands from advertisers as a result of the obscene outfit.

‘Everyone looked at them like they were crazy and the word is that he tried to create a major publicity stunt because he is worried he isn’t the centre of attention any more,’ the source said.

‘The organisers were informed about her outfit minutes after she got on the red carpet and sent someone to tell his team that they had to go because they could have been hit with massive issues if they pulled a stunt like this on air.’

The insider added that he was informed by his own camp that he himself could be sued by the network if they did anything crazy during the broadcast.

They denied reports that the couple were escorted away by police. 

The ceremony kicked off in Los Angeles at 8pm ET and 5pm PT on Sunday night, hours before the US watershed which is in place from 10pm until 6am.

The source said some industry insiders felt the move was a ‘failed’ attempt to ‘steal Kendrick Lamar’s thunder’.

‘The plan was to get into the ceremony and cause a scene there,’ they added.

A second insider said: ‘They were told that there was a dress code which required nothing obscene and no nudity so they were advised not to come in.’ 

West, who has won a whopping 24 Grammy Awards across the past two decades, lost out to Lamar for Best Rap Song.

The Compton native, 37, took the gong for his Drake diss song Not Like Us. He also earned two of the ‘big four’ awards, taking home Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year.

Censori’s eye-popping stunt prompted calls for her to be arrested for indecent exposure, with many circulating a picture of a young child peeking out from behind the red carpet and catching a glimpse of her controversial outfit.

‘Should be arrested for public indecency in front of minors,’ one Reddit user wrote. 

‘What if a dude did this? Would it be funny then?’

Another wrote: ‘This is actually kinda weird. All for women being free and shit but doing this when Kids are around is just weird man.’

‘This s**t not funny at all. Kanye and his woman are sick in the head,’ wrote a third, while a fourth added: ‘If it was a man they’d be in jail.’

In California, the crime of Indecent Exposure occurs when ‘a person exposes his or her naked body or genitals in front of anyone who could be annoyed or offended by it’.

To be guilty you must intentionally expose your genitals or naked body, intend to direct attention to yourself and, or intend to sexually gratify yourself or offend someone else when you do it.

A first conviction could result in a Misdemeanour sentence of six months in a county jail and, or a fine of up to $1000.

A second offence will be treated as a Felony and could result in a State prison term. If convicted of Felony Indecent Exposure you must register as sex offenders for a minimum of ten years.

West, who appeared to copy his Vultures album cover as he posed alongside Censori, is believed to have given his wife a series of commands as they were furiously snapped by photographers.

According to Nicola Hickling, the founder and lead analyst at LipReader, West said: ‘You’re making a scene now. Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense.’

Censori nodded her head once again, to which West reportedly said: ‘Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you.’

‘Alright let’s go,’ Censori responded, according to Hickling.

The couple were pictured leaving in their cars and were later snapped partying at a Grammy event hosted by West and Internet personality Justin Laboy on Beverly Boulevard.

Censori, who was hired as the Head of Architecture for Yeezy back in 2020, has become synonymous with pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable since marrying the controversial rapper in December 2022.

The Australian designer migrated from nude-coloured bodysuits and leggings to frequently baring her naked breasts and carrying oversized stuffed animals and pillows to cover her modesty.

The couple were banned by a Venetian water taxi company for indecent behaviour back in 2023. They were filmed engaging in what appeared to be a risqué act, with West baring his naked buttocks to eagle-eyed tourists while his wife nestled her head in his lap.

Her latest look comes a year after West posted a trio of pictures showing her dressed in a black string bikini top and thong and declared there will be ‘no pants this year’.

The post raised eyebrows as he had previously criticised his ex-wife for being ‘overly sexualised,’ while promoting her SKIMS brand, and once also claimed the wet look Thierry Mugler dress she wore to the 2019 Met Gala was ‘too sexy.’

Sources have previously told DailyMail.com that her scantily clad ensembles had created tensions with her family who were said to be left ‘hurting’ at watching their loved one being paraded around like a ‘trophy pony’.

But her lookalike younger sister Angelina, 20, appeared to throw her support behind Censori’s stunt last night when she shared a video to her Instagram Stories from a West fan account of he sibling’s red carpet moment.

Censori used the headline-grabbing stunt to return to Instagram, months after she deactivated her account amid reports she had split from the troubled rapper.

Her page features just two posts – behind the scenes Polaroids of her shocking red carpet look, with her follower count already at 247,000, while her Stories show more naked snaps.

The two grid posts have been flooded with outraged comments with many declaring she should be ‘ashamed’.

Censori and West secretly married on December 20, 2022 – just one month after he finalized his separation from Kim Kardashian, with whom he has four children.

DailyMail.com previously reported that Kardashian had asked him to have his wife cover up when around their children.

‘Kim instructed Kanye to never let Bianca dress like that around their kids,’ an insider said. 

‘She is truly surprised that Kanye would let his wife leave the house like that.’
