Vibrant village programme: No line for actual control as ITBP goes vocal for local fish, egg, milk
Synopsis
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police has signed an MoU with Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh governments to provide employment and livelihood to locals near the India-China border under the vibrant village programme. The initiative promotes eco-friendly sourcing and has already benefited villagers by supplying goods worth ₹1 crore, with plans to expand to 400 villages in Arunachal Pradesh.
