Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was taken to hospital from his federal prison cell on Thursday night, sources have revealed.
The disgraced mogul, who is currently locked up at the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting trial for numerous sex crimes, was rushed to hospital late at night.
Combs received an MRI at Brooklyn Hospital because his ‘knee was bothering him,’ and the trip occurred at 10pm to avoid any speculation, insiders told DailyMail.com.
The source clarified that a jail altercation or fight was not the reason for Diddy’s late-night hospital trip, adding that it was ‘just an old injury that was bothering him.’
Combs did not stay at the medical facility overnight and was taken back to his cell after the MRI concluded.
Diddy has been locked up in jail since he was arrested last year on sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution charges. He’s been denied bail multiple times.
Combs has vehemently denied all of the allegations since they first came to light and pleaded not guilty after charges were initially filed.

Just last week, he was accused of sex trafficking three women in a new criminal indictment filed by prosecutors on Thursday.
The 55-year-old rapper — who is set to go to trial on May 5 — was previously alleged to have trafficked one woman, but the superseding indictment, obtained by DailyMail.com, accuses him of trafficking two additional women.
However, despite the new accusations, no additional charges have been filed against the disgraced music mogul.
His attorney Marc Agnifilo responded to the latest indictment in a statement to DailyMail.com.
‘The latest Indictment contains no new offenses. The prosecution’s theory remains flawed,’ Agnifilo said. ‘The government has added the ridiculous theory that two of Mr. Combs’ former girlfriends were not girlfriends at all, but were prostitutes. Mr. Combs is as committed as ever to fighting these charges and winning at trial.’
In the indictment, prosecutors allege that Combs transported the three women — as well as professional sex workers — across state lines.
None of the women are identified by name in the indictment, but one of the women is apparently Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, the singer Cassie Ventura, who accused him of raping and repeatedly physically abusing her in a lawsuit filed in November 2023.
Diddy settled the lawsuit just one day after she filed it, though the terms of the settlement were not announced, and he did not publicly admit to any of her accusations.

Despite Ventura not being named, the details of one of the incidents listed in the indictment are similar to a widely reported altercation between her and her then-boyfriend.
Prosecutors say that, in March 2016, Diddy was pictured on a hotel security camera hitting a woman and then dragging her back to the room where one of his alleged ‘freak off’ sex parties was in progress.
One of the woman accusing him of rape claims Diddy ordered a ‘madam’ to assault her with a copper IUD.
Ashley Parham claims in a lawsuit that she was gang raped by Diddy and his associates in March, 2018, after she was given a glass of water that made her feel ‘a little bit off.’
Parham detailed her claims in an interview with NewsNation’s Ashleigh Banfield, saying she was introduced to Diddy when he barged into the California home of her friend Shane Pearce.
Parham claims Diddy’s right-hand woman Kristina Khorram was present during the assault
‘[Diddy] basically started threatening me with human trafficking and that they could take me anywhere and sell me,’ Parham said.
‘He had [his longtime right-hand woman] Kristina Khorram…he ordered her to insert a copper IUD into my vagina, but luckily, it deployed before she could actually get it inside me, like inside the cervix.
‘And that’s when Sean Combs got extremely angry, and he grabbed the TV remote and sexually assaulted me vaginally with the remote, extremely violently.’
Parham claimed that she had previously told Pearce that she believed Diddy ‘killed Tupac.’ Diddy allegedly heard this comment and vowed to make her ‘pay.’
Khorram is mentioned as a defendant in Parham’s lawsuit against Diddy and other associates.
Diddy is currently spending his time in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after he was arrested and indicted on racketeering and sex trafficking charges. He has also faced an array of lawsuits while behind bars.
He’s been accused of taking part in kinky ‘freak-off’ marathon parties with a slew of baby oil and drugs.
These alleged parties involved sex workers and narcotics such as ketamine, ecstasy, and GHB, ‘which Combs distributed to the victims to keep them obedient and compliant,’ according to the indictment.
The Bad Boy Records star was denied bail three times by two separate judges, and will remain in jail until his criminal trial, which is scheduled for May 5.
He is facing life in prison if he is found guilty of the racketeering charge.
