UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell has apologized for his recent remarks praising Adolf Hitler and claimed he is ‘definitely not a Nazi.’
On his show ‘Arkansanity,’ Mitchell called Hitler ‘a good guy’ who wanted to remove ‘greedy Jews’ from Germany. He also claimed that the Holocaust ‘ain’t real’.
On Saturday, Mitchell posted a statement to his Instagram page walking back the remarks.
‘I’m sorry I sounded insensitive,’ he said. ‘I definitely was not trying to offend anybody, but I know I did. I know that a lot of people died in the Holocaust, and that’s a fact.
‘Hitler did a lot of evil things, I think we can all agree on that. I’m definitely not a Nazi, and definitely do not condone any of the evil things Hitler did.’
Mitchell’s comments were quickly denounced by UFC chief Dana White, who called the fighter ‘stupid and ignorant.’

Mitchell’s last fight was at UFC 310 on December 7, where he knocked out Kron Gracie
‘I’ve heard a lot of dumb and ignorant s*** said over the years, but this is probably the worst,’ White said.
Mitchell made the anti-Semitic comments on his podcast, alongside co-host Roli Delgado, earlier this week.
‘I honestly think that Hitler was a good guy based upon my own research, not my public education indoctrination,’ the 30-year-old said.
‘I really do think before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy I’d go fishing with. He fought for his country. He wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out that were destroying his country and turning them all into gays.
‘They were gaying out the kids. They were queering out the women. They were queering out the dudes.’
When Delgado replied that it was ‘bad to put a whole race into camps’, Mitchell claimed that Holocaust ‘ain’t real’.
He continued: ‘That’s what your public education will tell you Roli, because you believe your public education because you haven’t done your own research.
‘When you realize there’s no possible way they could’ve burned and cremated six million bodies, you’re gonna realize the Holocaust ain’t real.’
Hitler presided over the systematic killing of six million Jews across Europe between 1941 and 1945.
Despite his claims, Mitchell insisted on his show that he’s ‘not a Nazi’, adding: ‘He (Hitler) ain’t perfect. I’m not a Nazi. I don’t love Nazis. I don’t want Nazis to win the war. I’m just saying they were in a bad spot when Hitler come to power.’
