Has Melania Trump predicted her future?
In a recently resurfaced video, filmed when she was just 23 years old, the current First Lady posed as the first female President of the United States for a Slovenian commercial.
The ad, previously unearthed by Univision, was made for a Slovenian clothing company.
Bill Clinton was sworn in as the President of the United States in January 1993 – the same year Melania’s commercial aired in Slovenia.
The First Lady, known back in the day as Melanija Knavs, was an aspiring model who had hopes of expanding her career to the United States.
Of course, she later moved to New York City and married President Donald Trump in January 2005.
In the extraordinary commercial, Melania, now 54, could first be seen landing on the tarmac and deplaning a jet, as she wore a chic, very-oversized tan trench coat.
Her style was very much of the times, as she also sported a baggy tan blazer with gold buttons and matching skirt set, along with a striped yellow scarf tied around her neck.

The model’s curly hair was let loose down her shoulders, and swept to the side, creating a lot of volume at the top.
As the posing President of The United States was stepping off the plane, she gave a wave to the crowd and then appeared to take questions from ‘the press.’
Brown leather briefcase in hand, she then slid into the back seat of a 1980s red Chevrolet Caprice Classic, getting escorted to the ‘White House’ with a gaggle of ‘police’ on motorcycles.
While in the car, Melania touched up her makeup, and then waved to the ‘crowd’ outside.
The crowd reel was actually taken from archive footage of fans greeting President John F. Kennedy, Natalija Gorscak, director of Slovenian National Television, told Univision.
In the background of the advertisement is the 1978 Elvis Costello & the Attractions hit that featured lines such as ‘She’s been a bad girl, she’s like a chemical’ and ‘Though you try to stop it, she’s like a narcotic.’
Shortly before being sworn in, soon-to-be-president Melania met with her cabinet at a table covered in overgrown floral arrangements.
With a huge smile on her face, she then took her oath on what is staged to be the steps of the US Capitol – but don’t be fooled because the ceremony actually took place in the library of the National University of Slovenia.

Once all was said and done, Melania sat down at her desk, whipped on a pair of small-framed glasses on a pearl chain, and signed paper work.
And, if the commercial itself was already interesting enough, little did Melania know that she would go on to marry the 45th and 47th President of The United States, Donald Trump.
Last week, he was sworn in for his second term, after losing the election to Joe Biden in 2020.
Of course, Melania was right by his side at inauguration events all weekend, where she stunned in gorgeous outfits by Adam Lippes and Hervé Pierre.
On Friday, she accompanied Donald Trump to visit Asheville, North Carolina, a region that was devastated by Hurricane Helene this past September.
