Despite bids to join the new in-studio teams for NBA coverage from NBC Sports and Amazon, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith are reportedly close to re-signing with TNT.
Smith, O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and Ernie Johnson are the quartet of the wildly popular ‘Inside The NBA’, with TNT airing the show.
TNT’s NBA contract expires at the end of the season, with the show being licensed by ESPN starting in the fall. Now, the quartet will stick together on their new network.
