National Center for Human Rights: The President’s messages on the “Police Day” celebration reassured the Egyptian people of the nation’s gains
Counsel Mahmoud Al-Assal, President of the National Council for Human Rights, gave a tribute of pride and appreciation to the Egyptian police on its 37th anniversary, noting that it has proven throughout the ages its loyalty to the Egyptian people, maintaining security in the street, and confronting terrorism, crime, and bullying.
 
Al-Assal, in a press statement today, praised the policemen who stand at the forefront of the ranks to defend the security and stability of the nation, and who constitute a shield. We are immune to all threats targeting the security of Egypt and its people, affirming their commitment to protecting the homeland and confronting various conferences and strife.
The President of the National Council for Human Rights considered Police Day a great national occasion. To extend a sincere tribute to the souls of the police martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the nation, and demonstrated their courage in the face of enemies and terrorism, referring to President Sisi’s assertion in his speech on this occasion: “The Egyptian state always stands by the families of… These heroes are provided with all support and care, in appreciation of their irreplaceable sacrifices.”
