Dean of Medicine, Kasr Al-Aini: Establishing a unit to develop smart applications in health services
The Kasr Al-Aini Faculty of Medicine Council held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, chaired by Professor Dr. Hossam Salah, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Hospitals Board of Directors, in Ali Pasha Ibrahim Hall in the Center for Advanced Education.

As Dr. Hossam Salah pointed out During his presidency of the Council, he decided on a new policy for the responsible use of artificial intelligence at Cairo University, which includes establishing a specialized unit in the Faculty of Medicine to develop smart applications in education and health services. Dr. Ihab Ahmed Al-Rifai was assigned to supervise this unit, with the need to appoint a coordinator in each department to cooperate with him. Dr. Hossam Salah confirmed that this project reflects the college’s commitment to keeping pace with global developments.
Dr. Hossam Salah announced the holding of the college’s annual conference under the title “Towards an Innovative Medical Society.” During the period from May 25 to 28, 2025.
