Misfits boxer Anthony Taylor breaks his silence after collapsing following defeat to former UFC star Darren Till
Misfits boxer Anthony Taylor has provided a reassuring update on his condition after initially collapsing unconscious following his defeat against former UFC star Darren Till.
The pair went toe-to-toe in the ring at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on Saturday night after Taylor stepped in as a last-minute replacement for Tommy Fury who had pulled out of fighting Till.
It ultimately ended in disaster for influencer boxer, Taylor, who required oxygen and medical attention after being knocked out in the sixth round of the DAZN Misfits bout.
Till finished his opponent with his third knockdown of the fight and concerning post-fight scenes saw medics administer breathing apparatus before Taylor regained consciousness and was given the all-clear.
The battered and bruised American – who only turned professional in 2017 – has now posted an update about his health after viewers were left worried about his condition.
Taylor produced an X-rated rant on social media in the aftermath of the contest and bizarrely hailed himself as the ‘greatest of all time’ despite being left crumbled in a heap on the canvas by Till.

‘Thanks for everybody who’s also making fun of me, I don’t give a f***. Ay, look if I deserve it, I deserve it.
‘But at the end of the day, you can’t spell GOAT without AT and I’ll be motherf***ing back,’ he added.
Meanwhile, Till did not take long to turn his attention to his original opponent Fury, after the former Love Island star pulled out of their scheduled bout, forcing Taylor to step in.

There was later further controversy in the evening when KSI taunted former Chelsea and England international Wayne Bridge as their upcoming March fight was officially announced.
