Dr. Ayman Ashour stressed the distinguished relations that reflect the deep ties of friendship and mutual respect between the two countries, noting that Egypt and China carry a great cultural heritage, and share a common vision based on building a prosperous and sustainable future for their people, which has been embodied. The Minister pointed out that cooperation between Egypt and China includes a wide range of vital areas. Which contributes directly to achieving sustainable development for the peoples of the two countries, explaining that this cooperation has resulted in many important achievements, which represent qualitative leaps in infrastructure and transportation projects, and the most prominent of these achievements is cooperation with Chinese companies operating in the Canal Economic Zone. Which contributed to the development of technical and artistic education, and the qualification of Egypt’s youth to become future leaders in various sectors.
The minister also added that cooperation with China in the field of industry and trade resulted in the establishment of advanced industrial zones, such as: the Chinese industrial zone in Al Ain. Sokhna, which has become a center for export-oriented industries, noting that with regard to cultural communication, there are student exchange programs, cultural festivals, and artistic cooperation, which have contributed to strengthening cultural ties between the Egyptian and Chinese peoples; Which enhances mutual understanding and rapprochement between our cultures.
Dr. Ayman Ashour stressed that Egypt has achieved a number of achievements over the past years to achieve development in various fields, noting that Egypt was keen to develop human capital through investment in education.
