Hurley drifted in and out of consciousness after being pulled out of his vehicle by firefighters
Hurley is said to have crashed his Dodge Charger into a tree at South Quad Drive and Highland Road, near the south gates of LSU’s campus.
The cause of the crash is yet to be released, though officials reportedly believe impairment was not suspected. No further details have been made available.
A crash report says the college football player drifted in and out of consciousness and had a large cut on his face.
DailyMail.com has reached out to LSU’s football program and the Baton Rouge Police Department for more information.
Hurley, a freshman out of Jacksonville, Florida , was only 16 when he enrolled in the school to begin his college football career.
After serving as understudy to Garrett Nussmeier and Michael Van Buren for the Tigers in 2024, he will enter his second season with LSU later this year.
The teenager was the No. 25 quarterback from the Class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
He is believed to have picked LSU over the likes of Alabama, Florida and Arkansas.
