Mersal welcomes the ceasefire in Gaza and confirms its readiness to send aid in coordination with the National Alliance

Marsal Foundation, a member of the National Alliance for Civil Development Action, welcomed the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, appreciating the pivotal role of the Egyptian state in reaching this agreement after 15 months of suffering for the Palestinian people.

Marsal Foundation confirmed – in a statement Today, it is fully prepared to continue its role in providing all aspects of support to the brothers in Gaza and to participate in meeting their humanitarian needs. All kinds of urgent matters, in coordination with the National Alliance for Civil Development Action and state institutions.

The Foundation indicated its efforts to support the people of the Gaza Strip before Israel occupied the Rafah crossing from the Palestinian side, where humanitarian aid convoys were sent to Gaza in coordination with the National Alliance. For civil development work, which reached 150 aid trucks at a cost of 250 million pounds, as well as organizing blood donation campaigns to provide the needs of our brothers in Palestine of blood and its derivatives.

Heba Rashed – Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees – explained that the Foundation provides support to the Palestinian brothers residing in Egypt within the framework of its humanitarian role to alleviate the suffering they are experiencing after the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, explaining that a number The Palestinian cases that were assisted socially and medically during the last period exceeded 2,500 Palestinian citizens and families.
