Trump posts wildly realistic lip-read of bromance with Obama at Jimmy Carter’s funeral – including brutal dig at Kamala

Donald Trump has posted an amusingly realistic lip-read of his conversation with former President Barack Obama – including a brutal dig about Kamala Harris ‘falling off the wagon.’

The pair laughed and chatted during Jimmy Carter’s funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington DC. Trump was even questioned about what was so funny.

The speculation led professional lip readers’ attempt to decipher what conversation between two bitter rivals has sparked such joyous laughter.

Trump then decided to release his own pseudo-version of events live by posting a wildly creative, and outrageously fake, lip-read video to Instagram.

The parody, shared to Trump’s Truth Social and his Instagram account begins with Obama praising Trump’s 2024 victory before taking a brutal swipe at Vice President Kamala Harris.

The video starts with Obama sliding into the pew beside Trump while somber choral music play in the background.

The two exchange pleasantries before diving into a satirical roast of their political peers.

‘Congratulations!’ Obama states, before Trump asks how the former president is doing.

‘I knew you’d win,’ Obama declares in the video, all spoken by an eerily convincing AI voice.

‘Come on,’ Trump responds with a smug grin. ‘Anyone could beat her.’

In another segment, Obama criticizes President Joe Biden for refusing to step aside after his disastrous June 2024 debate performance.

‘He just didn’t want to leave,’ the fake Obama laments referring to President Biden. ‘I did what I could to help [Kamala], but she was horrendous.’

As if that weren’t enough, the parody cuts to a silent, scowling Hillary Clinton before Trump gleefully remarks that she still ‘hates’ him and will ‘never forgive’ him.

The spoof ends with the faux Trump and Obama making plans to meet.

‘We should definitely set something up,’ fake Trump says, to which Obama agrees.

‘Let me know whatever works best for you,’ the fake Obama obliges only to be interrupted by Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, taking their seats in the row in front.

In the real life video, Harris then turns around only to see Obama and Trump talking to one another.

“Did you see that, she won’t even look at me,” the fake Obama says.

‘I was told by some of people, apparently they said she fell off the wagon,’ the AI Trump voice responds.

‘I think she actually may have,’ Obama replies. ‘She’s not really built for this. And that pressure, if you’re not built for it will do it.’

In real life, at a Mar-a-Lago press conference in the evening following the funeral, Trump was asked about his real-life interaction with Obama.

He refused to say what he and Obama discussed. But he joked: ‘It did look very friendly, I must say.’

He noted that he had seen the coverage of it on television and the obsession over their conversation on social media.

‘I didn’t realize how friendly it looked. I said, “Boy they look like two people who like each other” and we probably do,’ he said. ‘We have little different philosophies, right, but we probably do.’

The president-elect added, ‘I don’t know. We just got along. But I got along with just about everybody,’ possibly referring to former Second Lady Karen Pence’s snub of him and Melania.

He said that the entire cast of luminaries ‘met backstage’ before the funeral and said ‘we all got along very well.’

Trump helped birth the so-called ‘birther’ movement while Obama humiliated the reality TV host onstage at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2011 – considered a motivating factor for Trump’s decision to launch a 2016 White House run.

But on Thursday Trump and Obama acted like they were old friends.

The Republican president-elect and the former Democratic commander-in-chief chatted, with Trump making Obama laugh several times.
