ClearVue extends solar glass reach into massive Arab building market

The company says it will now seek to further expand its distribution agreements into the Indian and Saudi Arabian markets, expected to be facilitated by Alutec and kick-off in 2025.

A planned agreement with an Indian subsidiary of Alutec’s Aria Holdings in early 2025 will target India’s $1.4 trillion construction market, while a deal in Saudi Arabia planned for later this year could put Clearvue in the driver’s seat as a provider to the globe’s largest growing solar markets.

In November last year, ClearVue locked down a big Chinese manufacturer to produce and supply its solar windows around the globe via a five-year deal.

Alutec is the biggest building façade manufacturer in Qatar and a top three player in the region. The company says it has been integral to building Qatar’s stunning skyline for more than two decades, giving it a head start in being able to push ClearVue’s solar vision glass into its local markets.

ClearVue’s Building Integrated Photovoltaic technology integrates solar energy generation into glazing in building façades, offering what it says is a game-changing solution for sustainable construction.

Its ability to generate energy from clear glass windows enhances both energy efficiency and sustainability, two major priorities for Middle Eastern governments and developers.

As ClearVue’s partnerships and brand recognition grow in the Middle East the company looks set to ride Alutec’s expanding network through 2025. With a strategy to continue saturation of its innovative technologies overseas, the company is hoping the future of construction is not only green – but transparent.
