The meeting discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the General Authority for Health Care and “MSD” company, as a pioneering company. In the fields of oncology treatment, pharmaceutical innovation, and development of immunological solutions, the company’s contributions to sustainability projects and global plans to confront the effects of climate change were also discussed.
The two sides agreed to begin practical steps to establish a “Center of Excellence for Women’s Health.” In Upper Egypt, it will specialize in diagnosing and treating gynecological tumors such as uterine cancer and breast cancer.
The two sides also confirmed that this center will also include integrated programs for treating chronic diseases and providing health awareness about women’s health.
