Shark Tank’s Barbara Corcoran left devastated after losing her mobile home in the LA wildfires

Real estate mogul and Shark Tank investor Barbara Corcoran has revealed that she lost her Pacific Palisades mobile home in the Los Angeles wildfires.

Since early this week, wildfires have ravaged the Los Angeles area, burning homes and even entire streets to the ground.

On Tuesday, fires tore through the ritzy enclave of Pacific Palisades, rapidly spreading to surrounding suburbs as a windstorm carried embers and debris in all directions.

Currently, there are multiple fires that have yet to be contained, and many fear even more damage this weekend as winds continue to pick up.

Many celebrity homes have been destroyed, among them Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Paris Hilton, Melissa Rivers and Ricki Lake.

Now, Corcoran, who mainly resides in Manhattan, has been added to that list.

She announced the loss of her mobile home in an emotional Instagram post, sharing a terrifying video of the area completely on fire.

The video appeared to be taken from someone’s car, as debris flew all around them.

‘The devastating fires in LA have taken so much from so many this week. The beloved Tahitian Terrace Mobile Home Park in Pacific Palisades, my little slice of heaven, was entirely destroyed when the devastating Palisades Fire rapidly moved through the park on Tuesday,’ she wrote.

‘For the past five years, I’ve been privileged to have a home in this loving, tight-knit community,’ her message continued.

‘It’s a place where kindness thrives, friendships are cherished, and neighbors become family. My heart breaks again and again as I see these incredible people who built their lives here for decades, many of them seniors who poured their hearts and life-savings into their trailers, left with absolutely nothing,’ Corcoran wrote.

In the message, she also shared that she has set up a GoFundMe page to help the community recover from the devastating damage.

‘Funds raised will be distributed by our dedicated tenant group to help those most in need cover immediate essentials like food, clothing, and shelter as they take the first steps towards rebuilding their lives,’ Corcoran wrote.

‘My heart goes out to all those displaced, and my deepest thanks to the brave first responders working tirelessly to keep people safe,’ her post concluded.

The Tahitian Terrace Mobile Home Park was located right across the street from Will Rogers State Beach, and had listings priced to almost one million dollars.

It was only a short drive from Santa Monica and the Palisades.

Corcoran also owns a home in Fire Island, New York, per House Beautiful.

Since the wildfires started, at least 10 people have been killed.

As of Friday, over 10,000 structures have been burned down, with a total of 29,053 acres of land scorched in one of Los Angeles’ most horrific disasters to date.
