Lily Allen Confirms David Harbour Breakup, Slams Blind Items

Lily Allen has now confirmed the overflow of rumours that she and Stranger Things star David Harbour have sadly split.

Taking to her podcast Miss Me?, Lily said she has “been spiralling” as a result of the breakup and revealed she has been suffering from panic attacks.

“I’m finding it really hard to be interested in anything. I’m really not in a good place,” she said.

“I know I’ve been talking about it for months but I’ve been spiralling and spiralling and spiralling and it’s got out of control.

“I came to the Miss Me? Christmas lunch and had a panic attack and had to go home. I went to see something at the theatre the other night with my friends Carla and Claire and I had to leave at half time.

“I can’t concentrate on anything except the pain that I’m going through.”

She informed her fans that she intends to step away to recover and heal from the pain of the couple’s demise.

“It’s really hard. I’m going away next week. You’re not going to hear me for a few weeks, listeners,” she said.

“I do want to reassure people because there will be speculation because of the amount of time that I’m going to be taking away, that I’m going to drug rehab – I’m not. I’ve not relapsed.”

The British singer also took aim at the rampant blind items that have come out of the woodwork with unverified gossip about the pair.

“I know there’s been some horrible blind items on the internet about me being found by my husband in a crack den, surrounded by men. I don’t know who is spreading these vicious rumours but it’s not true,” she said.

She went on to say that she’s looking forward to getting off her phone, telling the audience: “They’re not doing us any good. They’re certainly not doing me any good at the moment. I really don’t like my phone.”

When her co-host Miquita Oliver told Lily that she “shouldn’t be on it,” Lily said she reckons “no one” should have a phone and that they should “go in the bin”.

“I think social media has fucked us. I think that it’s fucked democracy, it’s fucked everything, it’s fucked the arts, it’s fucked everything and we need to put them in the bin,” Lily said.

“We’re not talking to each other anymore. We’re not talking to each other on the streets, we’re not smiling at each other, we’re not doing what human beings are supposed to be doing and I’m as guilty of that as anyone else.

“This is the one thing I’m very excited about where I’m going the next few weeks is that I’m not allowed my phone.”

Rumours that the pair had split emerged last month when an insider claimed Lily had found David on the dating app Raya.
