The Supreme Council for Media issues a decision regarding the restructuring of the Complaints Committee
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation, headed by Engineer Khaled Abdel Aziz, issued a decision to reconstitute the Complaints Committee, as follows: Issam Al-Amir – Undersecretary of the Council as Chairman of the Committee, and the membership of Counselor Abdul Salam Al-Najjar – Member of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, Radio Mohamed Nawar – Head of Egyptian Radio, journalist Naila Farouk – Head of Egyptian Television, Counselor Yasser Al-Mabadi – Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, Counselor Walid Mahmoud – Member of the Technical Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation Media.
The committee is responsible for examining the complaints referred to it, examining the violations that are monitored, verifying their proof and proposing the appropriate decision regarding them, as well as other topics referred to it related to the nature of its work.
The committee may take whatever action it deems appropriate to verify proof of violations, and it may summon anyone related to the matter of the violations to hear the necessary clarifications, provided that it prepares A report of its opinion on its findings and submit it to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation for decision.
