The Egyptian Labor Representation Office in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, organized a workshop that benefited Egyptian workers in a Gulf company in the Al-Ahsa region. To make them aware of their rights and duties within the workplace, especially the relevant Saudi legislation, and how to communicate with the labor representation office in the event of disputes or problems they may face.
This comes in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Labor, Muhammad Gibran, regarding activating the role of labor representation offices. Abroad, affiliated with the Ministry, is communicating with communities and Egyptian workers to provide them with all forms of support, awareness, and protection.
Mohamed Elian, head of the Labor Representation Office, and Labor Attache Ali, confirmed Khalaf, that this workshop, which was held at the “company’s” headquarters, It comes to complete the meetings conducted by the “office”. With workers in the Riyadh region of the Kingdom to raise their awareness of some issues related to labor relations, including “rights and duties, termination of labor relations, end-of-service benefits, labor lawsuits in terms of procedures and methods of litigation, the role of the labor representation office… and others,” and that an open dialogue was held with the workers, And listening to the challenges they face while working, as they asked to repeat these meetings directly or through social networking sites.
