A big celebration about "Building the human being in the thought of the pioneering Imam Sheikh Muhammad Zaki, founder of the Muhammadiyah clan"

The Muhammadi House of Sufism celebrates today  Wednesday after the Maghrib prayer on the 27th anniversary of the pioneering Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Zaki Ibrahim, the founder of the Muhammadiyah clan and the pioneer of Sufism in the modern era.

  The celebration will be held under the title (Building Man in the Thought of the Pioneer Imam), under the patronage of Professor Dr. Muhammad Muhanna, Professor of Sharia and Law at Al-Azhar University and servant of the House of Muhammad, and in the presence of: Professor Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem – Member of the Council of Senior Scholars, Professor Dr. Shawqi Allam – Former Mufti of the Republic, and Professor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari – Minister of Endowments, Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdel Rahim Bayoumi – Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Hamid Othman – Member of the Islamic Research Academy, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Saleh – one of the scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Professor Dr. Abdel Fattah Al-Awari – former Dean of the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion in Cairo, Professor Dr. Yousry Jabr, and the sheikhs of chanting, Moaz Al-Jaafari, Ahmed Al-Ansari, and Mansour Zuaiter.

 

It is noteworthy that Sheikh Muhammad Zaki Ibrahim   May God have mercy on him, he officially founded the Muhammadiyah Clan Association in 1930 AD, in which Sheikh Abdul Halim Mahmoud, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, later became his deputy, to be his means for the Sufi Islamic reform call, and he made among his principles concern for the individual and the group, and this influence remained with the Sheikh after his death, and his mention spread throughout many countries. Especially in Southeast Asia, Indonesia. The Sheikh, may God have mercy on him, was ambitious, hardworking, and fluent in the languages: English, German, Persian, and this high culture enabled him to delve into the field of translation. The Sheikh translated into Arabic some poems by the German poet Heine Resch Heine. He learned Persian from Sheikh Muhammad al-Azami, and translated a number of poems by the Sufi poet Muhammad Iqbal into Arabic, which were published in the Apollo magazine. An Islamic poetry circle written by major Islamic poets, including: Dr. Hassan Gad, Professor Qasim Mazhar, Professor Mahmoud Al-Mahi, and Professor Abdullah Shams Al-Din, Dr. Saad Dhalam, Mr. Dhaifallah, Mr. Al-Rabie Al-Ghazali, Mr. Shawer Rabie, Mr. Muhammad Al-Tohamy, Mr. Ahmed Abdel-Khaleq, Major General Raif Al-Maari, and others.

President Gamal Abdel Nasser presented him with the scarf of the first pioneers and the medal of honor. President Sadat gave him the First Class Golden Medal of Excellence, and President Hosni Mubarak gave him the Arts and Sciences Medal, which is reserved for great scholars and writers. Then he gave him (The Golden Medal of Excellence) is also of the first class, and the Yemeni President Abdullah Al-Sallal gave him (the Yemeni scarf and dagger).

He was the secretary and religious leader of the (International Muslim Youth Associations) and the (Quranic Conference) headed by the Vice President of the Republic. Mr. Hussein Al-Shafi’i and a member of the committee (the Supreme Council for Preaching in Al-Azhar) headed by the Grand Imam Dr. Abdul Halim Mahmoud, and he was an expert in the two historical committees for the reform of Sufism headed by Mr. Wazir. Interior, then headed by Sheikh Al-Baqouri, Minister of Endowments at the time, may God have mercy on him, and through the efforts of these two committees, the current Sufi list was issued, and he had several objections to it, had it not been the first step towards reforming Sufism in Egypt, and it is considered a nucleus for what comes after it, as was the case for Sheikh Muhammad Zaki  Credit for establishing the Office for the Care of Converts to Islam at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif during the era of Dr. Abdul Halim Mahmoud, may God have mercy on him. He participated in the activity of this office, and quite a few of those whose hearts God Almighty opened their hearts to His religion converted to Islam, and the Office for the Care of Converts to Islam at Al-Azhar continues to perform its mission until now. In one way or another, it is the best prayer. Sheikh Muhammad Zaki has several books, including: (The Alphabet of Sufism), which is an important book for those who wish to learn about Sufism.

And among his journalistic works is (Magazine). Muslim) and was  From the generation of the first pioneers of poets of this era, he was a contemporary of Shawqi, Hafez, Al-Aqqad, Al-Rafi’i, and Al-Zayat, and he had trips and tours with them. He wrote five collections of poetry in about fifteen volumes of rhymed vertical poetry, on various purposes of poetry. Perhaps the most famous of them is  His famous collections (Diwan Al-Baqiyya) and (Diwan Al-Mathani) were called   He led to the establishment of an academy for Sufism, which was achieved by his student after his death, Dr. Muhammad Muhanna, Professor of Sharia and Law at Al-Azhar University. The shrines of Ahl al-Bayt in Cairo: It is verified that the head of Imam Hussein, may God be pleased with him, and the body of Lady Zainab and other members of Ahl al-Bayt are in Cairo, historically and in reality.
