Reporter who called Blake Lively out over ‘rude’ interview says she ‘does not feel bad’ amid lawsuit

The reporter who called Blake Lively out over her ‘rude’ interview has insisted that she ‘does not feel bad’ about it amid the actress’ bombshell lawsuit against her It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni.

In the weeks leading up to It Ends With Us’ release in August, rumors of an ongoing feud between Blake and Justin dominated headlines, resulting in the leads facing intense scrutiny online.

Amid the drama, award-winning journalist Kjersti Flaa fiercely slammed the Gossip Girl alum, 37, over a resurfaced, ‘uncomfortable’ sit-down that they had in 2016.

During the interview, Blake made a sarcastic quip about Kjersti’s body, and the reporter claimed that the ‘traumatizing’ moment made her want to ‘quit’ the industry forever.

This week, it was revealed that Blake was suing her costar for sexual harassment on set, and alleged that Justin and his team had orchestrated a smear campaign against her.

But Kjersti, 51, who is originally from Norway but now lives in California, has now told DailyMail.com that has no regrets about her decision to speak out about the interview.

‘I don’t feel bad,’ Kjersti said to DailyMail.com, after she was asked about Blake’s new lawsuit.

‘I showed her behaving poorly in an interview and what it looks like when the power dynamic is off and you are disrespected at work. It has nothing to do with her allegations against him.’

Kjersti also doubled down on her claims that she was not encouraged to post the video by Justin’s team.

She branded their chat as the 'most uncomfortable situation she had ever experienced'

‘I have never spoken to anyone from his team. I never met him. I have nothing to do with their smear campaign,’ insisted Kjersti.

DailyMail.com has contacted reps for Blake for comment.

Blake and fellow actress Parker Posey sat down with Kjersti back in 2016 to discuss their film Cafe Society.

But when Kjersti made a comment about the then-pregnant actress’s baby bump, things immediately turned tense.

‘First of all, congrats on your little bump,’ Kjersti, who is the founder of Content Now TV, gushed.

‘Congrats on your little bump,’ Blake fired back, as the interviewer giggled nervously.

Kjersti told DailyMail.com afterward that Blake’s comment ‘felt like a bullet’ because she can’t get pregnant.

She said Blake made her feel ‘belittled and ignored’ throughout the entire sit-down, and ultimately, it resulted in her questioning if she ‘ever wanted to do these types of interviews again.’

‘It was such a traumatizing experience to me. I was there to do a job and they made sure to make it as difficult as possible for me to do that,’ she said back in August.

‘I was there so they could promote a movie. I was invited to meet them. It certainly did not feel like that.

‘I felt belittled and ignored and it made me question if I ever wanted to do these types of interviews again.

‘It took me a while to get over it and build up my confidence again.’

Kjersi told DailyMail.com that Blake’s response was especially hurtful because she cannot conceive.

‘[Her comment] left me almost paralyzed. To be honest it hurts because I obviously wasn’t pregnant and I could never get pregnant so to me that comment was like a bullet,’ she shared.

‘I didn’t know how to react. I felt very uncomfortable throughout the interview and all I wanted to do was leave and get out of there as fast as I could.

‘It made me feel like a complete failure. I kept going through the interview in my head afterwards trying to figure out what I had said or done to make them behave like that. It made no sense to me.’

This week, Blake filed a shocking lawsuit in which she accused Justin of sexual harassment on set.

In the suit, she alleged that he showed her nude videos and images of other women and discussed his previous alleged porn addiction, per TMZ.

Her lawyers also claimed that Justin and his team retaliated against her harassment complaints by ‘battering her image, harming her businesses, and causing her and her family severe emotional harm.’

Private messages and emails obtained through a subpoena filed by the actress detailed the alleged plot, several sent by Hollywood crisis management expert Melissa Nathan.

Justin’s team refuted the allegations and claimed the legal action is an attempt to patch up Blake’s reputation.
