El Alamein Model Hospital is the first health facility accredited with comprehensive health insurance in Matrouh

Dr. Ahmed Taha, Chairman of the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control, announced the successful accreditation of 13 health facilities, led by Al-Alamein Model Hospital, as the first accredited health facility in Matrouh, in conjunction with the governorate’s readiness to join the second phase of the comprehensive health insurance system, and Heaven Hospital in Giza, This is part of the latest decisions of the Supreme Accreditation Committee, expressing his pride in the keenness of health facilities in various governorates of the Republic to implement the quality standards issued by the Authority and which are internationally accredited by “ESCWA”. To reserve its space for excellence and prepare for the future of the health system in the new republic.

 

Taha explained  The committee also agreed to grant final accreditation to a number of (4) family medicine centers and units in the governorates of Ismailia, South Sinai, and Suez, which are:

–  Al Salam Family Medicine Unit 2 – Suez

– Wadi Tal Family Medicine Unit – South Sinai

– Al-Rahma Family Medicine Center – Ismailia

– Ras Sidr Family Medicine Center- South Sinai

 

He continued: The committee’s decisions also included granting accreditation to Al-Fardous Eye Center in Sharqia, and Dr. Tariq Omar Clinic in Alexandria, which are facilities belonging to the private sector, and initial accreditation. For the two family medicine units of Amer Village in Suez, and the fourth Abis Family Medicine Unit in Beheira, in addition to approving the renewal of the accreditation of Al-Zohour Hospital  In Port Said, Sheikh Zayed Specialized Hospital in Giza, and Al-Fouad Center for Intensive Care and Cardiac Catheterization in Qena. 

 

Dr. Ahmed Taha, Chairman of the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control, congratulated the quality teams in accredited health facilities, stressing that the committee’s decisions reflect the remarkable development in the medical and administrative teams’ acquisition of distinguished cumulative experiences, pointing out that the maturation of the quality culture requires more time and continuous experiences to fully consolidate it within the system. Health care.

 

It is worth noting that the committee’s approval to accredit health facilities is based on the reports of a qualified and internationally trained team at the highest level. A level of auditors committed to evaluating facilities through a number of evaluation visits to the facility to ensure full compliance with the evidence of accreditation standards issued by the Authority and internationally approved (ESCWA), which is the basis of the work of the Authority’s auditors, whose selection process and management system are subject to strict rules to ensure integrity, impartiality, and no conflict of interest. In addition to continuously building their capabilities in the areas of evaluation and review.
