Imam said: “We announced the city of Antalya as a city of tourism, as it received the award for the G8 Summit, and we were happy with the crowd we found for all special projects, especially those related to the food security file among member states, and we seek to support fruitful cooperation.” And cooperation with the private sector in order to open great horizons for cooperation, and we have supported many initiatives, especially with regard to trade Electronic".

 

Imam added: “This great cooperation that we carried out in the last period has supported four strategies, which are thinking about the importance of expansion in order for the summit to have wise, comprehensive and economically integrated leadership, then the necessity of having a financing fund affiliated with the G8 developing group.” In order to finance and support projects in member states, focus on the transition towards a green economy, support our own organizations, and provide real support, partnership and empowerment for small and micro enterprises led by “Youth.”

 

Today’s summit

 

It is worth noting that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, opened today, Thursday, the summit of the eight developing countries for economic cooperation, which is being held in the New Administrative Capital under the title “Investing in youth and supporting small and medium enterprises: Towards shaping the economy of tomorrow.” ;, in the presence of leaders of the organization’s member states and a number of leaders of developing countries and regional and international organizations.< /p>

 

President Sisi received the rotating presidency of the organization from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus, during the first session of the summit, where President Sisi delivered the opening speech, which focused on ways to enhance cooperation between developing countries in facing international challenges. span>

 

Today, Cairo will host the summit of the Organization of the Eight Islamic Countries for Economic Cooperation D8, in its eleventh edition, which is held under the slogan “Investing in youth and supporting small and medium enterprises: shaping the economy of tomorrow.”

 

Egypt chairs the current version of the summit, as it assumed the presidency of the group last May, and will continue to lead its work until the end of next year.

 

This edition is scheduled to discuss ways to confront the successive global economic and political changes.< /span>

 

Several summits and bilateral meetings are also scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the O8 summit in Cairo, whether at the level of presidents or delegations participating in the conference.
