"Abed": Egypt provides a role model in receiving refugees and providing them with a decent life

MP Alaa Abed, Chairman of the Transport and Communications Committee in the House of Representatives, and Vice-President of the Mostaqbal Watan Party, appreciated the humane and civilized way in which the Egyptian state deals with the refugee issue.

 

He stressed Abed, said that Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, provides a role model in receiving refugees and providing them with a decent life within its territory.

 The head of the Transport of Representatives explained that the refugees In Egypt, they enjoy all basic rights and services, such as education and health care, just like Egyptian citizens.

Abed pointed out that Egypt, despite the economic challenges it faces, has not abandoned its humanitarian role towards refugees who have fled areas of conflict and persecution.  

The Head of Parliament Transport added that the Egyptian state pays special attention to integrating refugees into society, and is keen to provide them with all services in a way that enhances their stability and safety, stressing that this sophisticated treatment reflects Egypt’s commitment. With its international obligations and human rights agreements.

Abed stressed that the articles contained in the refugee law reflect the state’s keenness to regulate the presence of refugees and protect them, while ensuring that they do not affect the state’s sovereignty or security. 

The Vice President of the Mostaqbal Watan Party added that there are some biased parties that are promoting lies about violations of refugee rights, with the aim of distorting Egypt’s image and creating confusion, stressing that these allegations are not based on any Facts.

Abed stressed that Egypt continues to work in a balanced manner between protecting the rights of refugees and preserving national security, noting that any amendments to the refugee law are made within the framework of a transparent societal and legislative dialogue.

The Head of Parliament Transport called on citizens not to be led by malicious rumours, stressing that Egypt will remain a welcoming land for refugees and always keen to provide them with a decent means of life.
