The Railway Authority announced that some modifications were made in the composition of some trains on the Cairo-Aswan line and vice versa, from regular Russian trains to air-conditioned Russian trains, which included two train numbers 160/159 Cairo/Aswan and vice versa, and included modifying the composition of the two trains as follows:

As of December 24, 2024, the installation of Train No. 160 on the Cairo/Luxor line will be modified. And train No. 159 on the Luxor/Cairo line from Russian dynamically ventilated cars to third class Russian air-conditioned cars.
