Within the framework of supporting and strengthening military cooperation relations with brotherly and friendly countries, the Egyptian and French naval forces carried out the joint Egyptian-French naval training (Cleopatra-2024), which was carried out over several days within the scope of the Northern Fleet in the Mediterranean, with the participation of elements of the Egyptian naval forces. The training included holding many lectures to unify the concepts of joint work among all participating elements, as well as training on implementing the right to visit and inspect non-compliant ships and air defense against targets. Hostile air forces, as well as training on supply and refueling at sea, in addition to implementing surface artillery firing with live ammunition to repel and destroy hostile targets, in addition to implementing different sailing formations that demonstrated the extent of harmony between the units participating in the training.
The training comes in the light of relations. Which brings together the Egyptian and French armed forces, to maximize the benefit of the bilateral capabilities of both sides and exchange experiences in the method of securing theaters of naval operations against various threats.
