Man United and RB Leipzig ‘interested in PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani’ ahead of January window’… with the Frenchman ‘out of Luis Enrique’s plans’

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.

The striker, 25, signed for PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for £77million in 2023 but has managed just 11 goals in 54 appearances.

Now the Ligue 1 champions are prepared to offload him as manager Luis Enrique doesn’t see him in his plans according to L’Equipe

The French outlet claims that Manchester United and RB Leipzig could be potential destinations for Kolo Muani, who has struggled for minutes so far this season.

Kolo Muani was all the rage in the 2022-23 season when he hit 23 goals and provided 17 assists in all competitions for Frankfurt, earning his move to PSG in summer last year.

He had been linked with a possible £105m move to United instead and admitted that playing in the Premier League was a ‘childhood dream’.

In the 2022 World Cup final he had the chance to win the tournament for France but was denied by Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez’s ‘save of the century’.

France have been able to get more out of Kolo Muani than PSG, with the forward scoring three goals in his last five outings for Les Bleus.

However, he has managed just three starts all season for PSG and failed to even make the squad for Sunday’s 3-1 win over Lyon.

PSG have reportedly spoken with Kolo Muani’s delegation and are willing to let him start afresh elsewhere in the new year.

Borussia Dortmund and Juventus had been interested in the summer.

Kolo Muani, who rose from the French third tier to the World Cup final in three years, is commended for his electric pace and strength.
