The Prime Minister follows up on the procedures for launching the Jabal al-Zeit station to generate electricity from wind energy

 Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, in a meeting held today at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, followed up on the procedures for launching the Jebel El-Zeit station to generate electricity from wind energy located in the Jebel El-Zeit area, south of the city of Ras Gharib, in the presence of Engineer Mahmoud Esmat, The Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Noha Khalil, Acting Executive Director of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, Dr. Tarek Shaarawy, Assistant Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and Central Bank officials.

Advisor Mohamed said. Al-Homsani, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, said that today’s meeting comes to follow up on the procedures for launching the Jabal al-Zeit wind station, hours after the Prime Minister announced that the station will be launched among another group of banks and companies scheduled to launch it during the next year 2025. 

Al-Homsani added: Today’s meeting reviewed the optimal tender mechanisms for the Jebel El-Zeit wind station, and ways to achieve the best return from this important asset through partnership with the private sector. 

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers confirmed that the Prime Minister attaches great importance to the issue Government IPOs He is keen to follow up on the procedures for offering companies that have been announced in a way that contributes to accelerating the offering procedures. At the same time, the Prime Minister always stresses the necessity of achieving the maximum benefit from offering these assets to the private sector.
