Dr. Doaa Zahran, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the She Can Development Foundation, confirmed that human rights are neither a luxury nor a privilege, but rather a basic right for every individual in society, explaining that today we are witnessing human rights violations in various countries.
Zahran added that all countries of the world must affirm their stand against all forms of injustice and violations, with a focus on women’s rights, which we believe are the cornerstone of any true renaissance, pointing out that the She Can Development Foundation strongly rejects all forms of violence or discrimination against women. Women, and always stresses the importance of empowering them in all fields, because we see this as a way to build a more just and humane society.
She pointed out that despite everything that is happening around us, we dream of a society In which every woman is free and safe, able to realize her dreams and live in dignity, without any restrictions or injustice. We also dream of a society that recognizes her role as a basic pillar of development, whether as a worker contributing to the economy, or a mother raising generations. Capable of leadership, or a leader who inspires those around her and makes a real difference.
Dr. Doaa Zahran continued, “We affirm our responsibility as an institution to defend and support women’s rights, and to continue our efforts to spread awareness and stand up.” In the face of any violations that threaten her humanity and dignity, because human rights in general, and women’s rights in particular, are the standard for the progress and prosperity of nations.
