President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with His Majesty King Harald V The King of Norway, within the framework of the president’s official visit to Norway as part of his European tour.

 

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, stated that King “Harald V” ; He began the interview by welcoming President Sisi, noting his country’s appreciation for the pivotal role played by Egypt in Africa and the Middle East, praising the momentum that relations between the two countries have witnessed in recent years.

 

The ambassador added Mohamed El-Shenawy, that President Sisi thanked King Harald V for his part. He received the warm reception, stressing the importance of the visit in light of it being the first visit by an Egyptian president to Norway since the start of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1936, praising the bilateral relations and the development they have witnessed in recent years. He also invited the King of Norway to visit Egypt to participate in the opening ceremony of the Egyptian Museum.
