In his speech, the Minister of Endowments welcomed Dear all, attending, confirming that the competition has been prepared over months of preparation and planning, and attracting talents from all over the world. The Minister affirmed Endowments that Egypt was linked to the Holy Qur’an before the creation of creation, for God Almighty was eternal and before the creation of the universe and in His Great Qur’an. His ancient speech honored Egypt by mentioning it in his honorable speech five times, explicitly by name, and more than forty times by allusion and allusion, in addition to the fact that entire surahs of the Holy Qur’an were all set in the land of Egypt, even if the Qur’an did not state their name or did not refer to it, then Surah Yusuf is all set in the land of Egypt. By serving the Holy Qur’an with love, faith, recitation, intonation, and performance And memorization, interpretation, work, application, decoration and engraving, until it became widespread among the people of knowledge to say: The Holy Qur’an was revealed in Mecca, and was read in Egypt, so there are countless pictures of Egypt’s service to the Holy Qur’an, its sciences, the arts of performing it, and competing in its love and service, adding that God – the Almighty – has enabled it to attract the people of The Qur’an throughout history. Imam Abu Saeed Othman bin Saeed, famous for the title of Warsh, the student of Imam Nafi, buried the land of Egypt, and Imam Abu Muhammad Al-Qasim bin Fayrah – Al-Shatibi – ended up with the leadership of the recitations in Egypt, and he died and was buried there, and Sheikh Al-Islam Zakaria is the source of the sources of the reciters, and Imam Al-Mutawali is the final investigator in these sciences, and Muhammad Khalaf Al-Husseini, Ali Muhammad Al-Dabaa, Amer Al-Sayyid Othman, Rizq Khalil Habba, and Abd al-Hakim Abd al-Latif. The Minister of Endowments added that the suns of the state of recitation shone with Sheikh Muhammad. The Minister of Endowments added that giants of singers and supplicants emerged alongside the masters of reciters and geniuses of recitation, such as Sheikh Ali Mahmoud and Al-Sheikh. Taha Al-Fashni, Sheikh Nasr Al-Din Tobar, Sheikh Sayyed Al-Naqshbandi, Muhammad Al-Toukhi, and most of them combined recitation of the Holy Qur’an with the masterpieces of chanting, praise, and invocation of the love of God and His Messenger, describing them as shining suns in the sky of recitation, with good talent, a wonderful voice, and a beautiful, dazzling, heavenly, spiritual, and dazzling performance. He expressed the Egyptian school of recitation and chanting as the authentic and ancient Egyptian school in the arts of recitation of the Holy Qur’an, which resonated with the Qur’an, filling the ear of the world with beauty, taste, joy, mirth, and familiarity with God and His Messenger.
The Minister of Endowments confirmed that the Egyptian school of recitation and chanting is history. In the service of the Holy Qur’an, it is represented by the Ministry of Endowments’ announcement of the Katateeb Return Program project, which started from the village of Kafr El-Sheikh Shehata in the Tala Center in the Menoufia Governorate in northern Egypt. A large and busy bookstore was opened there, along with a bakery to serve the people of the honorable village. It cultivates noble values, preserves identity, and builds the Egyptian person on high morals, a deep understanding of the meanings of religion, sincere belonging to the homeland, and revives the sound Arabic language in the souls of new generations, as it is the language of the Holy Qur’an, in a way that protects future generations from both terrorism and atheism.
The minister added that the Ministry of Endowments serves the Book of God by holding a series of competitions, the most prominent of which is today’s competition: the Thirty-First International Holy Quran Competition, which receives the attention of the Egyptian state and the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah. Al-Sisi, as Egypt receives its guests from various countries of the world, and allows them an atmosphere of competition and competition by highlighting their talents in memorizing the Holy Qur’an, understanding it, and serving it, with which we send a message to the two billion Muslims on the face of the earth and then to the eight billion people on the face of the earth: Egypt is the destination of Islamic sciences, and the flag is raised. Arabism, the home of Sharia sciences, the country of the honorable Al-Azhar, and the example of tolerance and the call for peace. No country in this world has served Islam and the Qur’an as Egypt has done, and history does not. He denies, and the reality does not deny, stressing that the competition today is a message of appreciation and respect for all the people of the Qur’an and for every memorizer of it and those related to it on the face of the earth.
The Minister of Endowments continued that from Egypt the springs of the Qur’an have erupted throughout history and will not be depleted, and from here its lights shine. It will not fade away. From here, the sciences of Sharia have flowed and will continue to flow. From here, the genius voices and golden throats have echoed and will continue to echo, be born and shine.
The Professor Dr. pointed out Osama Al-Azhari pointed out the symbolism of the place where the competition is held, saying: It is the Islamic Cultural Center of Egypt, the Grand Mosque of Egypt, and the unique and unparalleled House of the Qur’an, adding that it is in this global edifice that today’s competition will be launched, and dozens and hundreds of events will soon be launched that will fill the world with light. It fulfills the mission of the Egyptian Cultural Center and enlightens the world with the sciences of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and its solid and enlightening curricula, adding that we will quote from the Qur’an the cup of wisdom through which we discover talents, and with it we will give birth to new generations of Geniuses of recitation and chanting. We will train imams. We will create scholars. We will preserve, protect, and develop our homeland. We will extend our hand to our sister countries and countries with goodness, support, generosity, giving, and light. We will go to the world with high values and upright morals. We will build bridges between us and different cultures, civilizations, and philosophies. We will help the world protect… The environment, preserving childhood, achieving sustainability, maximizing the benefit of artificial intelligence, and creating civilization, adding, “We will face our challenges.” And our crises, and we inject hope into souls, and remove from them all the rubble of confusion, sadness, and doubt. We will cross our country to safety, and participate with humanity in overcoming its worries, and we seek God and walk to Him with insight, and we carry the inheritances of prophecy. This is Egypt if it decides to act and set out.
The minister concluded his speech by affirming Egypt’s firm, right, sober, and courageous position, that there is no solution to the region’s crises, nor calm, nor security, except by restoring rights to its people, and establishing a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with its capital.
