Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has been fined $25,000 by the NBA after making a throat slash gesture towards an opponent on court.
Brown, who helped the Celtics win the NBA Championship last season, made the gesture towards the Detroit Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart on Wednesday.
And according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the 28-year-old has now been hit with a hefty fine by the league.
Brown led Wednesday’s game with 28 points as the Celtics earned a 130-120 victory over the Pistons.
