Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, received Ambassador Nader Zaki, Egypt’s new ambassador to the Philippines. To discuss ways of joint cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
This step comes within the framework of efforts made to develop cooperation between Egypt and the Philippines in various fields, especially in spreading the values of peaceful coexistence and rejecting extremism.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Azhari stressed the importance of conveying the pioneering Egyptian experience in combating extremist ideology, which depends on employing moderate religious discourse and promoting common human values. He pointed out that Egypt always seeks to transfer its expertise in this field to countries around the world. Based on its pioneering role in supporting regional and global stability.
For his part, Ambassador Nader Zaki praised the ministry’s distinguished efforts in confronting extremist ideology and highlighting the Egyptian model of coexistence and societal cohesion, and expressed his aspiration to strengthen the bonds of cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments in a way that opens New horizons for cultural and religious cooperation between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties agreed on the importance of continuing consultation and coordination to highlight the Egyptian experience and spread the moderate Egyptian Al-Azhari approach. To build and coexist, build bridges of cultural and intellectual communication between peoples, and support common human values for the good of the entire world.
