Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobki explained that the accreditation of 23 health facilities affiliated with the Authority in Suez Governorate, with different degrees of accreditation, had been completed, with a rate of 75% of the total health facilities. affiliated with the authority in the governorate, in accordance with the national accreditation standards GAHAR recognized by the international ESCWA organization, which reflects the high readiness of these facilities to provide distinguished medical services with the highest international quality standards.
The doctor added Al-Subki said that the Public Health Care Authority provides its medical and therapeutic services in the governorate through 31 affiliated health facilities, including medical complexes, hospitals, family medicine centers and units, which ensures that citizens’ health needs are met with quality. And efficiency.
He continued: The bill for the cost of implementing the comprehensive health insurance system in Suez amounted to 5.75 billion pounds, including the cost of infrastructure for health facilities and their medical and non-medical equipment, in addition to operation. He stressed that the system is the largest national reform project in Egypt, and is a sustainable investment in the health of the Egyptian citizen, and in support of achieving health justice and ensuring the provision of integrated and distinguished health services for all categories. Society.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobki pointed out that a comprehensive medical examination has been conducted for approximately 148,000 citizens in the Suez Governorate so far, representing 30% of the population registered in the system, with the aim of Early detection of diseases and improving the health of citizens, pointing out the importance of conducting a comprehensive medical examination periodically as one of the basic pillars of preserving the health of citizens and enhancing their quality of life, thus providing better opportunities for treatment and prevention.
