The Egyptian Exhibitions Authority succeeds in attracting delegations from 20 countries to Egyptian products at an exhibition "Food Africa"
The Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences hosted delegations of buyers in cooperation with the Food Export Council for agricultural crops and packaging from 20 countries, including more than 200 buyers, on the sidelines of the “Food Africa” exhibition. During the period from 3 to 5 December this year inside the Egypt International Exhibition Center.
Major General Sherif Al-Mawardi, Chairman of the Egyptian General Authority, said that the Authority succeeded in attracting these foreign delegations to view Egyptian products with the aim of increasing exports and entering those countries.
Al-Mawardi added that full coordination had been made to hold bilateral meetings with buyers from those countries and their Egyptian counterparts to create new investment partnerships and enhance the product’s competitiveness.
He explained that the Exhibition Authority organized this mission to buyers in coordination with the Export Development Authority and the export councils in various sectors, most notably food, agricultural crops, and packaging, with the aim of improving Egyptian export rates and achieving the state’s plan to reach about 100 billion dollars in exports.

Al-Mawardi continued: The buyers’ delegation includes, for the first time, international participation from 20 countries, most notably Germany, France, England, the United States of America, the Netherlands, Italy, Kenya, Tunisia, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Russia, India, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Qatar, Uganda, and Kuwait.
The head of the Exhibition Authority pointed out that These delegations were attracted from different countries to open new export horizons for the local product.
Food Africa Exhibition (Food Africa) is one of the most prominent and largest trade exhibitions specialized in the food and agricultural industries sector on the African continent. The exhibition is held annually in Cairo, and is considered a platform that brings together local and international companies working in the fields of food, beverages, food ingredients, agricultural equipment, and packaging technologies.
