The Prime Minister is following up on the efforts of the Supreme Medical Committee and emergency services during last November

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, reviewed the efforts of the Supreme Medical and Distress Committee of the Council of Ministers, during the month of November 2024, through a report prepared by Dr. Hossam Al-Masry, Medical Advisor to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Chairman of the Committee.

 

 The Prime Minister praised the efforts made by the Supreme Medical and Distress Committee in dealing with citizens’ distress calls, and cooperating with the ministries and concerned authorities in providing care. necessary medical care for them, stressing the importance of continuing to intensify these efforts; In order to alleviate the suffering of patients and their families, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in this regard, by working to provide various aspects of health care to all citizens.

 

And during his report, Dr. Hossam Al-Masry indicated that the efforts of the Supreme Medical and Distress Committee during last November included responding to 1,402 cases that were monitored through the “WhatsApp” application. And the media and social networking sites.

 

At the same time, the medical advisor explained that the committee’s interaction with these cases included the issuance of 248 treatment decisions at state expense by the Prime Minister. In addition to providing medical procedures for 65 cases of Gamma Knife and Cyber ​​Knife treatment, in addition to issuing 46 decisions related to compatible marrow transplants. The head of the Supreme Medical and Distress Committee added that during the month of November, 30 decisions were issued by the Prime Minister regarding emergency cases, in addition to providing medicines for 208 distress calls that were monitored and dealt with. With it, in addition to installing artificial limbs and prosthetic devices for 107 cases.           In addition, 4,212 citizens were examined within the committee’s convoys in the Red Sea Governorate, in addition to providing 636 medical glasses, in cooperation with the Egyptian Healing Bank Foundation.
