Approval of the Technical Sustainable Management Certificate (TSM) for the Dakahlia sewage treatment plant
The Dakahlia Water and Sanitation Company announced the renewal of the accreditation of the Matareya sewage treatment plant for the Technical Sustainable Management Certificate (TSM) for the fourth time. The plant was reviewed, inspected, and the wards were monitored to ensure the safety of procedures and the efficiency of the plant.
The Gamaleya sewage treatment plant’s obtaining the TSM certificate comes within the company’s performance development plan within the framework of the directives of Dr. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, and in implementation of the company’s operation and maintenance sector work plan for the year 2023/2024.
Engineer Khaled Hussein Nasr, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Dakahlia Water and Sanitation Company, extends his sincere congratulations and appreciation to all workers at the station, led by chemist Kamel Khater.
Engineer Khaled Nasr stressed the continuous follow-up by Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, to raise the efficiency of the stations and his keenness for them to obtain the Sustainable Technical Management Certificate for the sustainability of services provided to citizens.
The Technical Sustainable Development Certificate (TSM) is one of the international certificates that reflects the efficiency of operating stations and networks, ensures the sustainability and continuity of service provision in the required manner, and ensures that stations continue to operate at the highest levels of performance and quality in order to provide the best service in accordance with the specifications of the Ministry of Health to meet the needs of citizens.
