The Minister of Awqaf and the Mufti inaugurate the training program for Malaysian scholars

Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, Dr. Nazir Ayad, Mufti of the Republic, and Dr. Muhammad Sabri bin Harun, Mufti of Terangganu State, opened the training program for a group of scholars from Malaysian fatwa houses at the Egyptian Fatwa House.

 

The Minister of Endowments expressed his happiness at the kind invitation to receive Egypt’s distinguished guests from the sisterly state of Malaysia, stressing the depth of the bond that brings together the two brotherly countries, Egypt and Malaysia.

 

He pointed out the importance of communication and consultation between scholars. The two countries are engaged in important issues that will greatly benefit the land of Egypt, Malaysia, and all of our homelands from the east and west of the earth.

 

The Minister of Endowments confirmed that this event comes within the context of a series Among the scientific activities adopted by His Eminence the Mufti  Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayyad and his honorable sons are all scholars and jurists working in the Egyptian Fatwa House. To present a summary of the experience and knowledge accumulated by the scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Egyptian Fatwa House, one by one, at the hands of a group of mufti scholars. And they are a huge series of the nation’s scholars and its honorable blossoms.

 

He added: This session is to present the sap of this expertise and the Egyptian experience to the distinguished guests of Egypt, the distinguished scholars and muftis, so we do not begrudge, and we do not spare. Rather, we devote experience, knowledge, and knowledge to our honorable brothers from the scholars of Malaysia, whose nobility, jurisprudence, and knowledge we know. Knowledge is a mercy among its people, and we are honored to serve you and welcome you, and we offer you the essence of the Egyptian experience in knowledge, jurisprudence, and fatwa, so that you return to your country, and remember that the land of Kanana is Egypt. Its al-Azhar, its esteemed Fatwa House, its Ministry of Endowments, and its institutions have provided you with an educational boost that has added to your experiences and knowledge, illuminated the way for you, and helped you in what God has placed you in of trust in the trust of knowledge, religion, and fatwa in sisterly Malaysia.

 

The Minister of Endowments asked His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic to culminate in this program by hosting the honorable delegation on a special visit to the Mosque of our Lady Imam Hussein, may God be pleased with him, the Mosque of our Lady Sayyida Zainab, may God be pleased with her, the Mosque of our Lady Sayyida Nafisa, may God be pleased with her, and the Mosque of our Lady Sayyida Sakina Bint. Our Master Imam Hussein, may God be pleased with them both, and visiting the shrine of our Lord Imam Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, and visiting the shrine of Imam Al-Layth bin Saad, the jurist of Egypt. Presenting these visits to the guests of Egypt as a gift in the name of His Eminence the Mufti.

 

After the opening of the session, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, gave an important scientific lecture in which he stressed the importance of distinguishing between the mufti, the jurist, and the judge, and explained the difference between them, providing practical examples for this.
