This morning, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the Youth City Hall in North Sinai Governorate witnessed the activities of the Hajj Lottery for the year 2025, organized by the North Sinai Security Directorate. The ceremony was attended by Major General Dr. Khaled Megawer, Governor of North Sinai, Major General Muhammad Abdel Wahab Suleiman, Director of North Sinai Security, as well as Sheikh Mahmoud Marzouk, Director of the North Sinai Endowments Directorate.
53 winners were chosen from among 219 applicants in the lottery, to be among the lucky ones who will perform Hajj rituals this year. The winners expressed their great happiness for this opportunity, which they had always dreamed of, while the hall witnessed great interaction from the people of the governorate who came to celebrate this important occasion.
In his speech, His Eminence Sheikh Mahmoud Marzouk expressed his happiness at organizing this important event, stressing the importance of Hajj as one of the pillars of Islam, and stressing that the lottery is conducted according to fair standards that guarantee everyone’s right to participate. He pointed out that this occasion represents a great opportunity for the people of North Sinai to fulfill a lifelong dream of performing Hajj rituals.
Major General Khaled Mujawar, Governor of North Sinai, praised the efforts of the Security Directorate in organizing the event, stressing that North Sinai Governorate will always be at the service of its people, and wishing all the winners a blessed and easy trip.
