3 awards for Egyptian film "I’ll tell you a secret" From the Egyptian American Film and Arts Festival

The organizing administration of the Egyptian American Film and Arts Festival, headed by writer Safwat Youssef, announced that the Egyptian feature film “I’ll Tell You a Secret” won three awards in the short film competition, at the conclusion of the fourth session, which was held under the slogan “New York Speaks Arabic.”< /p>

The festival administration revealed that the artist Jihan Al-Shamasherji won the Best Actress award and the artist Sedqi Sakhr the Best Actor award for their role in the film, in addition to awarding him the festival’s special jury award. The film was filmed in 2021, and enjoyed participation in a number of International festivals as well as local ones.

 

"I’ll Tell You a Secret" A short film that discusses the complex relationships between young people, their problems, and how to live with this situation, and it is based on real experiences lived by girls and boys. Every day, through the relationship of Adham and Farah, who had a love affair that was not completed because Adham rejected the idea of ​​marriage, then they meet at a party, and each of them is accompanied by a friend, and they decide to talk together and confess their conflicting and mixed feelings.

The film is directed by Muhammad Alawi, starring Jihan Al-Shamasherji, Sidqi Sakhr, Jihad Hussam El-Din, and Mina Al-Najjar, edited by Ali Dahwi.
