
Hours after Aor rocked Hollywood with the Best Picture Oscar to cap a five-win night, a magniture-3.9 earthquake shook things up just north of the Dolby Theatre.
No injuries of damage were reported in the immediate aftermath of the temblor, which struck at 10:13 p.m. PT, three hours after the last Academy Award was handed out. Deadline staffers at post-Oscar parties reported that they didn’t feel the shake.

The epicenter was 1.4 miles east-southeast of North Hollywood, about 1.7 miles north of Universal City and 2.5 miles east-northeast of Studio City. The quake was at a depth of 9.5 miles.
Los Angeles County Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said units were not deployed around the region to check for infrastructure damage. After a temblor, LAFD usually deploys a strategic survey by land, air and sea of all districts around the city.
As of 10:45 p.m. PT, no aftershock had been reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.
