TASS reported that in the Orenburg region, Reverend Nikolai Strimsky was sentenced to 21 years in prison in a criminal case for crimes against children.
The judge of the Saraktash District Court declared, “Mikhail Evgenievich Strimskoy appointed to work in a criminal colony subject to a strict regime, with a restriction of freedom for two years, while depriving him of the right to engage in activities related to work with children, for a period of 20 years .
The hearing was held behind closed doors, and all information about the participants in the operation is hidden in a file on the court’s website.
The priest has been detained since September 25, 2019. It should be noted that from 1999 until the moment of his imprisonment in the pre-trial detention center, he committed crimes against 11 children.
Strimsky was accused of rape, acts of violence of a sexual nature, indecent acts, torture, improper performance of the duties of raising minors, as well as cruel treatment.
