As soon as I started planning for tonight’s set of matches I instantly thought of the Beatles when it came to Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Anyway, a new dawn begins tonight at Leicester City as Van Nistelrooy takes charge of the Foxes for the very first time.

Just last month he was sat in the Old Trafford dugout as interim Manchester United boss, watching the Red Devils put Leicester to the sword… twice.

Well, now he has the task of keeping the East Midlands side in the Premier League, which will not be easy.

He starts his reign against one of the most inconsistent sides in the top flight, West Ham.

One match they can be brilliant, the next distinctly average.

Can Van Nistelrooy give Leicester that new manager bounce against the Hammers?
