While Australia withers away into Autumn (although it’s been quite warm in the east), our American friends have been dancing up a storm at California’s iconic Coachella Music and Arts Festival. So, to keep you in the loop of all things Coachella, here are the biggest moments from Weekend One of the beloved music festival.
From Lady Gaga devil worship allegations to celebrity spottings to brat summer, Coachella 2025 has truly packaged everything that has happened in the last couple of months and celebrated it on stage.
And honestly, I think Coachella 2025 is the best Coachella we’ve had since the pandemic!!! Like, remember the Frank Ocean 2023 Coachella hullabaloo?? This year has definitely made up for that debacle (I will always love you, Frank).
ANYWAY, here are the biggest moments from Coachella 2025 Weekend One.
10. Lady Gaga cops devil worship allegations for epic performance
Kicking off with one of the most iconic acts to grace the Coachella stage, Lady Gaga brought Mayhem to life through her extravagant performance.
In fact, Mother Monster’s performance was so captivating it triggered the devil worship rumours she copped in the 2010s. We are so back.
9. Bernie Sanders joins Clairo’s Coachella set to warn America about its impending doom
Before charming the audience (hehe, see what I did there?) Clairo invited beloved American politician Bernie Sanders onto the Coachella stage. During his appearance, Sanders shared a speech urging punters to “stand up and fight for justice” amid Donald Trump‘s presidency.

“This country faces some very difficult challenges and the future of what happens to America is dependent on your generation,” Sanders said.
“We need you to stand up to fight for justice. To fight for economic justice. Social justice. And racial justice.”
Following Clairo’s set, the “Juna” singer shared a video of her and Bernie sharing a sweet, sweet hug. LOVE THIS.
8. Charli xcx invites Troye Sivan, Billie Eilish and Lorde on stage
CEO of brat summer Charli xcx left fans gooped, gagged and fed after she brought on Troye Sivan, Billie Eilish and Lorde to perform the remix versions of her song.
This included Troye for “Talk Talk”:

and Lorde for “Girl, So Confusing”.
I won’t be saying much BECAUSE I AM SALTY THAT THIS DIDN’T HAPPEN AT LANEWAY.
BUTTTT, I will say that this truly healed my inner Tumblr emo baddie, which also happened during MARINA‘s performance of “Primadonna”.

7. Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Tate McRae and The Kid LAROI spotted at Yeat’s Coachella set
In lighter news, Justin and Hailey Bieber, alongside their besties Tate McRae and The Kid LAROI, were spotted enjoying themselves at Yeat‘s Coachella set.
It’s honestly nice to see JB enjoying himself, especially with all the drama and conspiracy theories that have been brewing around him regarding his recent social media moves and his ex, Selena Gomez.
6. Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner spotted in Charli xcx moshpit
While everyone was jamming out to Charli xcx’s KFC banger “I LOVE IT”, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were caught sucking face.
Guess they literally LOVE IT, right? Dry? Yeah, I know.
Anyways, make sure Club Chalamet doesn’t see this.
5. Coachella cameraperson falls during The Marías’ set
Every year, Coachella provides a live stream of its festivities for punters who can’t make it to Cali! However, during The Marías’ performance, the cameraperson filming lead singer María Zardoya fell backward.
Honestly, if I was filming a Marías set, I would fall, too. Fall and break down into tears. UGH.
4. Missy Elliot goes full Transformers
Queen of my childhood, Missy Elliot, wowed the Coachella crowd (both in person and those watching the stream) by bringing Transformers to life.
I’m not even joking!!! The “Lose Control” artist arrived on the stage in a car before standing up to reveal a Power Rangers-esque suit.
Fucking ICONIC.
3. Patrick Schwarzenegger supports The White Lotus co-star LISA at Coachella
Star of the latest season of The White Lotus, Patrick Schwarzenegger, was spotted supporting his co-star LISA at her Coachella set! He even brought his own lightstick!
2. BLACKPINK’s bandmates support each other at Coachella
Alongside Schwarzengger, LISA’s BLACKPINK bandmates ROSÉ and JENNIE were spotted watching the singer-turned-actor during her set.
ROSÉ and LISA were then spotted at JENNIE’s set, where they were seen forming a heart for their bandmate. BLACKPINK is truly always in the area.
1. Megan Thee Stallion brings out Queen Latifah and Victoria Monet
MAKE WAY FOR THE HOUSTON HOTTIE!!!! Megan Thee Stallion not only owned the stage by serving up boddie and looks to die for, but she also brought out music legends Queen Latifah and Victoria Monet during her set!!!
In another life, I would be reporting live from Coachella Valley, but hey. Maybe me writing that here is me putting that manifestation out to the universe…
