"Emirates Libraries" Launch an initiative "Library grant"

Sharjah, 7 May / WAM / The Emirates Library and Information Association, in cooperation with the Emirates Publishers Association, launched the “Library Grant” initiative to support the publishing movement for books specialized in the field of libraries and information sciences.

Applications for the grant close on August 30, 2024. The publisher applying for the grant must be a member of the Emirates Publishers Association. Applications for the grant must be made via email: almaktaba.grant@elia.ae.

Fahd Al Mamari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Library and Information Association, confirmed that the aim of the initiative is to support the library sector in general and support the publishing movement in the country.

Al-Maamari added that the support will be for 3 titles per publisher, provided that a ceremony for the works winning the grant will be organized within the activities of the Sharjah International Book Fair 2024.
